Welcome to Asprova WS
This documentation describes the 26.1 release line, and defaults to its newest release. Where a behaviour changed within the line, the page says from which release — for example "Available from 26.1.4". See Versions for what each release contains. If you are on an older release line, the manual that shipped with it still applies.
Asprova WS is the server platform that puts your Asprova data to work on the web. Depending on your license, the following products are available on Asprova WS:
- Asprova My Schedule — share the production schedules you build in Asprova with colleagues across your organization through a web browser. Collect actual results from the shop floor and feed them back into your next round of scheduling in Asprova.
- Asprova Easy Master — maintain the master data that Asprova needs for scheduling from a web browser, with a range of features for keeping master maintenance accurate and efficient. (in development)
- Asprova Auto MPS — run master production scheduling (MPS) automatically, on a recurring schedule or on demand, without operating Asprova by hand. Review the generated plans in the browser.
- Asprova Auto BatchProcess — run batch-process production scheduling automatically, on a recurring schedule or on demand, without operating Asprova by hand. Review the generated plans in the browser. (in development)
- Asprova Auto Assembly — solve assembly production scheduling automatically, without operating Asprova by hand. Review the generated plans in the browser. (in development)
- Asprova Web API for MES — an HTTP API for integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with Asprova. (in development)
- Asprova Web API for ERP — an HTTP API for integrating ERP systems with Asprova. (in development)
All of them run on the same server and work together with the plugin that connects to the Asprova application (the scheduling engine).
How the pieces fit together
The Asprova application (the scheduling engine) and Asprova WS exchange data through the plugin. The web app for each product you access is served by Asprova WS.
Asprova WS is deployed on-premise on your own network — it is not offered as a hosted SaaS.
